Potentially a fair maiden and Ordinance is taken to account for Aboriginie and Tenjack King. Connections have not hidden their charge in the past and as a consequence, the 85-rating accrued is probably fair enough under the circumstances. A step up to a mile shouldn't really inconvenience and he seems an appropriate enough benchmark to judge from. Aboriginie was weak in the market on debut. There should be more to come from John Gosden's charge. Tenjack King went into many notebooks after a fair debut from a poor post position and it would be no surprise for him to produce an improved run here. Formation should have come on for the run and will appreciate the step up in trip but Jamie Spencer has been booked to ride debutant, Averoo. Hit The Roof did not appear to get home in a strong Newbury maiden so has a little to prove here. St Michaels Mount looks to be the pick of the Tregoning pair on jockey bookings but in the absence of market information, Ordinance sets a fair standard for the rest.
