Verdict

DUBAI WARRIOR looked a potentially smart colt when making a winning start at Chelmsford in November and beating a subsequent winner by over four lengths. John Gosden’s charge gets the vote to defy a penalty on his belated reappearance. Muhaarar's Nephew is penalised for winning a maiden at Beverley in June but Rapture was placed at Chelmsford recently and Sea Wings and Young General look likely improvers. Of the newcomers, Qatar Queen cost 400,000gns as a half-sister to the high-class Barney Roy while Khabeerah is the first foal of a Listed winner and both should be noted in the betting.
