Avocet was engaged in the 2.50 at Southwell yesterday where she would be bidding for a hat-trick. If successful she would be carrying a 12lb penalty so looks opposable. Tommys Geal was narrowly beaten at Lingfield though that was over 2m and this looks on the short side while FAMOUS DYNASTY has yet to prove he stays this far. However, he was finishing so strongly over 1m2f at Lingfield last time that a chance is taken on him lasting out the distance. Bird For Life is only 1lb higher than when successful over the course and distance in November.
