KING SUPREME can reign supreme in the lucky last and gets our vote ahead of Armure and Pediment. A Brighton winner last time out in a decent handicap, he's getting more than a stone in weight from some of his rivals, and consistency is the name of his game. Placed in his previous six races, he's been nothing special on the all-weather, bar one success last year over a mile, but he should be too good for many of these. Aegean Prince is his stablemate, but King Supreme is the pick of the duo. Pediment is enjoying a good season; a winner here over course and distance last time out to add to placings in her previous four outings, this is a step up in grade, but she seems to get better with every run and should be in contention. Again, she's well treated. Armure won a fillies' contest here on her last but one outing, since when a step up in class produced little, but she's expected to run a big race, and is well in at the weights too. Plenty would seem to have chances, but we'll support King Supreme.
