A decent handicap can see Press The Button get back to winning ways at the expense of Stonecrabstomorrow, Ceremonial Jade, Nusoor and Sant Elena to name but a few. Press The Button was sent off as joint-favourite at Newmarket 18 days ago in a bid to defy a 9lb rise for an earlier Epsom victory, and although beaten into second by the other fancied runner Kinsya, he left the impression that he should continue to be followed. There was nothing wrong with his latest effort at all, and indeed the third horse Demon Docker has since popped in at Leicester. Stonecrabstomorrow has not been out of the first three this year, and the step back up to seven furlongs will not be a problem for Paul Cole's challenger who rates as a main danger along with Ceremonial Jade who failed to give his true running on soft ground at Newmarket. His earlier second to the useful Bustin Justin at headquarters puts him on the short-list as well. The lightly-raced Nusoor should get today's trip on breeding and on the evidence so far, will in fact relish the extra furlong, while of the rest, Sant Elena and Mahrajaan are worth a mention as both were strongly fancied last time. In what promises to be a tight-knit affair, it is Press The Button that gets the nod.
