In depth

Verdict

Plenty of recent winners looking to follow-up in this. Afro and Chocala both scored over shorter trips last time with the latter giving the impression today's distance is within his compass. Miss Tiger Lily continued her good progress with another win at Lingfield having been successful over 2m at the same track before that. PEARL SPICE carries a penalty for last week's win at Nottingham where he bolted up by 11 lengths. Tim Pitt's charge looks capable of following up on that evidence and gets the vote. Ballinderry Boy makes more appeal than Mighty Thor of the remainder.
