Verdict

Mark Johnston has a surprisingly indifferent record with his two-year-old runners here so the debutante An Chulainn is probably best watched. But Tim Easterby's pair Kenny The Captain, third at Carlisle nine days ago, and See The Sun, who showed promise over 5f here on his debut, have claims and so does VENTURA QUEST. The latter was introduced in a much better race at York last month and acquitted himself well. Normal progress should see him get his head in front this evening.
