Verdict

Very little form to go on here, with only 5 of the scheduled 14 runners having raced before, and we'll opt for experience, selecting Daily Double ahead of Andhaar and Mr Snowballs. With so many newcomers though, it could pay to follow the market. Richard Hannon's Daily Double is well drawn and has experience from a couple of runs at Windsor, including finishing behind Mr Snowballs, but a good draw here could be a contributory factor in reversing that. Hannon's usually come on after a run or two. Rodney Farrant doesn't have too many runners, but he's got a decent strike rate here, and must feel it's worth the trip from Bampton for Mr Snowballs. Andhaar was placed last time out; he's one of two Ed Dunlop runners, the other being a newcomer Dubai Storming. The market may offer clues here if any of the debutants are particularly fancied, and it's only a tentative nod we give in the direction of Daily Double.
