        Verdict

        Mr Gent found 5f too short last time but is still a maiden after a dozen starts. KRAKA has been running well without quite getting there and deserves a change of fortune. He was only beaten a neck in a better race at Chelmsford last time and can lose his maiden tag on the all-weather. Dark Magic was an unlucky loser at Lingfield and will make a bold bid for compensation but Sir Ottoman looked as though he needed further when runner-up over 7f here last month. Storm Melody won over 7f at Lingfield in December and that looks his trip.
