Verdict

French raider Time Shanakill is penalised for an earlier Listed win while Spark Plug finished in front of Primero when only fifth at Lingfield and has something to prove over this longer trip. What About Carlo has done all his winning over shorter so far but is still preferred to the likes of Via Via and Verdana Blue with Nicky Henderson’s charge likely to find this much tougher than the novices' race he won at Chelmsford on his debut in this code. Despite placing at the highest level as a three-year-old, ARCHITECTURE has still only won a maiden. But Hugo Palmer’s filly ran well when runner-up in a Listed race over track and trip on last month’s reappearance and gets the vote with first-time headgear expected bring improvement.
