      Verdict

Jomus has been a model of consistency and deserves to get his head in front, he is selected ahead of Beneking and Sticky Mint. The selection has crossed swords with some decent types recently including the ill fated Eccollo and Landucci. Both races were over course and distance so he has an obvious liking for the track and he can finally add to his one lifetime success. Beneking hasn't raced since June when running well in a Chepstow handicap. He is another that doesn't know how to run a bad race and he should be in the shake up. Sticky Mint is the type to do well now she is handicapped and it would be no surprise to see her run into a place at big odds. All in all a difficult race to weigh up, but Jomus would not be winning out of turn and he gets the vote.
