Stuart Williams is yet to have a winner at this track since they switch to an artificial surface, but that may be about to be ended by Blacktoft, who has shown enough to suggest he can be the leading player in this company; while High Seasons and Broughtons Folly are capable of making this interesting if they run to the best of their form. Broughtons Folly was good value for her winning margin at Lingfield 10 days ago and, from only a 5lb higher mark, she has a sound chance of at least making the frame. High Seasons has been kept fit by a spell over hurdles and obviously has no doubts surround his stamina for the trip. He may lack a tactical chance of gear though and, despite being back on a winning mark; his lack of experience on this track counts against him. Therefore, we prefer to go with Blacktoft, who was fairly motoring near the finish when he made his Kempton debut a fortnight ago and a similar effort would be good enough to see him home today.
