Watheerah was only caught in the final strides at Newmarket on her debut and has obvious claims with normal progress. But FABIOLLA was doing her best work at the finish when runner-up over 6f at Yarmouth with a horse rated 87 back in third. Roger Varian’s filly may just edge this stepping up in trip. Rated 84, Al Mureib is not out of this either after returning a losing favourite at Catterick on his handicap debut while No Thanks posted a much better effort over track and trip last time. Deerfoot is a brother to a winner and a half-brother to three others and a newcomer to note.
