Riding for Godolphin won’t do any harm to Paddy Bradley’s career but his mount, Creek Walk, disappointed when favourite on Turf at Lingfield in June. Ptarmigan Ridge has started favourite the last twice, though his Lingfield conqueror Buxted Dream has won a handicap since and he probably holds Doncaster runner-up Mohsen on collateral form. Razzmatazz was only fifth at Windsor last month but may have needed that run and might do better here. LA FIGLIA is by Frankel out of dual 1000 Guineas winner Finsceal Beo, who has produced useful winners with her first three foals to race. She cost 1.8million euros as a foal so should have few problems winning an ordinary maiden.
