In depth

Verdict

This looks a hot maiden contest as DESERT SNOW found only subsequent Group 3 winner Sultanina too good at Salisbury on her debut - she gets the vote on that form. The Corsican finished a well-beaten third behind Wrangler, who went on to win a handicap, but should also figure. Paul Hanagan prefers Saarrem to Mustadaam with the former having gone close at Lingfield on his introduction while Ryan Moore takes over the reins on Sir Rosco. Winning hurdler Montbazon makes his debut on the Flat and is preferred to dual all-weather bumper winner Uncle Muf.
