Khateeb created a good impression when finishing in the runner up position in what appeared the stronger of the two divisions of the Wood Ditton and a re-production of that would see him land this. The form of that contest has worked out favourably with the sixth Stone Of Scone already having visted the winners enclosure. Roger Charltons' horses tend to improve for a run and Barricado had that seasonal debut at Nottingham last month finishing second behind the 80 rated Glorious Gift. He may be more effective over 10f and the 1m around this circuit may be on the sharp side. Barliffey's maiden outings do not possess as much promise as Khateebs' or Barricados' and he looks more exposed. Cotton Real is qualified for handicaps with a mark of 77, a rating that is possibly harsh for what he has displayed. The form of the Wood Ditton has a solid look about it as the winner Fanjuro looked very smart and Khateeb can add further substance to the worth of the form here.
