The debut form of Silk Storm may be nothing to write home about, but it has been upheld since and he gets the nod over stablemates Kerashan and Molem, who have to be respected for their connections alone. The former, a son of Derby winner Sinndar, will have the assistance of Kieren Fallon and obviously looks the pick of Sir Michael Stoute's assumptions on jockey bookings alone. More will be known about this one post race and notes should be taken as things unfold. A watching brief is also advised with Molem, as he also bred to get further and, considering the trainer's slow nurturing of horses of this type, he is also saved for another day. Top Of The Charts ran well enough on his debut to suggest that there is a race within him somewhere along the line. However, Silk Storm makes more appeal as he steps up to a more appropriate trip and can aid Frankie Dettori's push for the jockeys title here.
