Verdict

This looks wide-open with plenty expected to improve this year. Bombardment and Winter Thunder represent Godolphin with the latter preferred on his debut fourth at Lingfield. Mutaraadif, Fine Tune and Dalmatia made only modest efforts at Newmarket on their respective debuts but Obstinate ran well stepped up to 1m2f at Chester last month and can figure. KINSHASA was dropped back to a mile last time but, like his winning half-brother Kitonga, should prove best over middle-distances and he gets a tentative vote.
