In depth

Verdict

Rebellious Spirit looks to have rock solid claims here and he is nominated over General Knowledge and Not Now Lewis. The selection finished in mid-division in a handicap at Leicester last time, and he has got winning form in handicap company at this track. Now that he is dropped into a claimer he should prove hard to beat with Jim Crowley doing the steering. General Knowledge is well drawn and the booking of Seb Sanders in the plate is eyecatching, but his form is over a longer trip and for that reason we will pass him over. Not Now Lewis should be suited by the drop in trip and Jamie Osborne's runner is relatively unexposed. He can go well along with the course and distance winner The Jailer. However, this looks a good opportunity for Rebellious Spirit who is taken to score.
