Verdict
In the opener, Roman Legion gets the nod over Doon Haymer and Pavershooz. Much as Doon Haymer was disappointing last time, he had earlier shown good maiden promise and, with first-time blinkers now tried, has to be given serious consideration. Bishopbriggs has shown promise on all three starts and holds each way claims, Roman Legion looked a winner waiting to happen at this type of level when second at Bath last time, while Ninefineirishmen showed some promise on his six-furlong debut and should improve today. Similar comments apply to Pavershooz, who was just ahead of him in that race. Finally, Red Tarn has shown some promise but, for the selection, we return to Roman Legion.
