      Verdict

      WILL CARVER posted a good effort when runner-up to subsequent Cheltenham winner Faivoir, rated 144, at Newbury in March. He should go close on that form and is preferred to stablemate Duke Of Chalfont. Light N Strike and Belle Jour have both placed over timber while Roko George is a bumper winner at Exeter and makes his hurdling debut along with point-to-point winner Tamgho Borge.
