A competitive handicap with Nokhada and Lilbourne Prince closely matched on running at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day where the former prevailed by a nose. The latter's stablemate Peak Hill steps up in distance on his reappearance and looks on a decent mark but course and distance winner Winged Dancer found one too good upped 8lb last time and has been raised a further 3lb for this. CAPE SPEED continued his good progress by following a maiden success at Chelmsford with a victory at Lingfield. The least exposed of these, Mark Johnston's charge may well be capable of further improvement and the hat-trick beckons.
