In depth

Verdict

Hostage gets the confident vote here with First Princess and Lawyer To World rating the main dangers. The selection won a maiden in good style last time out when beating Vidinka, enters handicaps off what looks a fair mark and under conditions that suit he is taken to win this before going on to better things. First Princess rates the main danger on his latest second behind Tobago Reef but he is more exposed than the selection and looks opposable on that basis. Lawyer To World is another that could go well on his best form but he has not progressed as expected of late and he will need to improve for the fitting of first time blinkers if he is to score. Of the remainder Henry The Seventh is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but his overall profile leaves him with a little to find and for the winner we return to Hostage.
