With the highest rated of these horses being rated 45 well, it is uninspiring stuff, with the selection being Jarvo; his biggest dangers being suggested as Iceni Warrior and Earl Kraul. Jarvo's second to Saucy over today's trip at Lingfield last time is as good as any recent piece of form on offer and he can go well today. A return to 2005 would give Retirement claims, although you couldn't guarantee it. Dolly seemed to show some improvement last time at Lingfield. Good Intentions' 11 furlong-run here last time was not too bad all things considered, and Iceni Warrior was in the process of running well over course and distance last time before wilting in the final furlong. Huxley is tried in a first-time tongue-tie today, so watch the betting, and it is not out of the question that Sharp Tune will improve for the step up in trip. Earl Kraul improved for blinkers on the Turf back in October, although three all-weather runs so far have not exactly been auspicious, and first-time blinkers will have to improve the performance of Sean Og. Once again, then, the selection is Jarvo.
