Talaaqy showed no progress on her handicap debut and the headgear is removed. Cosmopolitan Queen landed a double over 7f earlier in the year but was behind AUGENBLICK (NAP) when the latter finished third at Sandown on her handicap debut. This longer trip should suit Roger Varian’s filly and she’s preferred to another unexposed type in Timespan. The latter looks a likely improver dropping back down in distance but Private View is upped in class after returning a beaten favourite at Chelmsford. Formerly with Godolphin, Finishing Touch debuts for a new yard on her first start of the year and the York maiden winner is one to keep an eye on.
