Verdict

HIGH ON A HILL makes plenty of appeal. He won in better company than this over C&D in December and went close off a higher mark back here in January. Sylvester Kirk's charge is the one to beat if running anywhere near his best. Gunslinger has been placed over hurdles and may appreciate the longer trip, but recent 1m4f winners Blackstone Vegas, Squad and Seaside Sizzler have yet to prove themselves over today's distance. Mac Federal returned from a four year absence with a good effort at Lingfield last time but this is tougher.
