Some top yards represented in this tricky handicap and we will give a narrow vote to Jeremy Noseda's Sivivatu, Ahmedy and Phone In look to be the ones that should challenge for the place money. Sivivatu looked on need of his recent spin round Newmarket, but was quietly backed. His form last year included a smooth maide n victory at Haydock in August. He is relatively lightly raced and so there should be plenty of improvement to come. Ahmedy is from the in form Mick Channon yard and has similar form credentials having landed a maiden before running well in a decent handicap at Goodwood. Fitness shouldn't be a problem and a big run can be expected. The dark horse has to be the Mark Prescott trained Phone In. He was well beaten in three runs over shorter trips and so gets in here on a pretty low mark. He is by a Derby winner so should improve dramatically for this step up in distance. The betting will provide valuable clues here, but without that information we have to side with Sivivatu.
