In depth

Verdict

Mambo Spirit is facing a tougher task having won here last time and a hat trick proved beyond Mr Optimistic off today's mark last month. Rose Garnet has strong claims with Richard Hughes taking over the reins after going close over track and trip in February and Dishy Guru has dropped down to a tempting mark. However, HOMEWARD STRUT finished runner-up in better company here last summer and will have come on for his recent reappearance over 7f. Laura Mongan's charge gets the tentative vote to come good in this less competitive affair.
