Dream Theme, Eagle Eye and Red Diadem look the three to concentrate on in this maiden with the narrow vote going to Dream Theme. The selection was a fair third when last seen behind Portal. He has reportedly strengthened up well in the winter and given nominal improvement he will be hard to beat. Eagle Eye rates the main danger as he is a well bred Capote colt, half-brother to 4 winners up to a mile from a yard that can ready a newcomer and he will not need to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. Red Diadem is another worthy of respect as he was a fair fourth on his debut behind Blue Grouse and is another that is sure to improve. Of the remainder Ocean Valentine is another that ran with promise on his debut last season when fourth behind Truly Fruitful but the suspicion is he may be seen to better effect once handicapped. This is a trappy affair and the market will be very informative but for the winner we return to Dream Theme who at least has plenty of experience on his side.
