Club Captain looks the one to beat in this wide open contest; the list of dangers is headed by Up Dee Creek and Beckenham's Secret. The selection remains unexposed and he was only beaten a neck by Frank's Quest over this course and distance last time. The draw could have been kinder to him today but he still rates as the one they all have to beat. Up Dee Creek was a fair fourth behind Polish Prize last time but she has yet to really prove herself over today's trip and for that reason we will take her on. Beckenham's Secret will not have any problems with the trip and he ran well enough in a handicap here last time to suggest that he can get competitive in this company. There looks to be some dead wood in this race so the best of the others could be Big Ralph who has got some solid form at this venue. However, this does look a good opportunity for Club Captain who is taken to score.
