In depth

Verdict

NATE THE GREAT came up against the progressive Bandinelli over track and trip last time but an apprentice’s allowance may give him the edge in this and he gets the vote. Both Here And Now and Stargazer step back up in trip with the former looking more favourably handicapped while Cayirli should be sharper for October’s comeback run but dual course and distance winner Imperium has his first outing since April. Captain Haddock has won a couple of amateur races this year but has a bit to prove over this far.
