John Leeper, the only three-year-old, was fancied for the Derby after completing a double in a Newmarket Listed contest and, though not coming up to scratch subsequently, should have more to offer. Dubai Future is probably warming up for Meydan where he has an excellent record though he's also won here. HAMISH has returned from a long break in fine form, landing a Group 3 here with Outbox behind before a good run in the Champions Long Distance Cup over 2m. Tom Marquand will make the most of his stamina and he can defy a penalty. The lightly-raced Shandoz looks best of the remainder after a very positive return from a long break at Lingfield.
