In depth

Verdict

Screaming Brave is weighted fairly enough to complete a hat-trick here but his previous attempts on polytrack are a little off putting so instead we take a chance with GOOD BUY DUBAI while we also surmise that Salybia Bay could be good value for a place. The pick has won once in two starts over course and distance and has been running well in defeat recently. On his best form he is weighted to run well and he is reunited with Chris Catlin who is the last jockey to pilot him to success. Screaming Brave chases the three-timer here after a couple of victories in similarly low grade races. His latest success came under a penalty and he is now carrying the same burden after reassessment so while he should go well the polytrack hasn't always been his best friend. Salybia Bay ran better than the bear result suggests last time out and has gone well off this rating before so prize money is a possibility while Windpfeil is also handicapped well enough to challenge. We don't think this race is as simple to call as it first appears and we side with Good Buy Dubai.
