Polish Prize, Stargazy and Lawdy Miss Clawdy form the short-list with the firstnamed taken to emerge victorious. Walter Swinburn's charge has taken a while to find his feet but did the job nicely at Wolverhampton last time and he may be able to go on from that confidence boosting success. Broad Town Girl finished down the field in that heat but her run wasn't devoid of promise and she's not ruled out here but Stargazy is a more obvious threat having scored readily last time. He was also enjoying a maiden success and could go on again given that he was once rated in the seventies. Lawdy Miss Clawdy has been running pretty consistently throughout the winter and has finished in the money on a couple of occasions. She tackles another furlong tonight and may improve for it but Polish Prize could prove too strong and is selected.
