    Verdict

SLEEP IN FIRST is rattling through the ratings as can be expected of any campaigner completing a four-timer but victory was never in doubt last time when the Ewart inmate cruised away to oblige with plenty in hand at Hexham. The handicapper will have his say eventually but he is best followed until beaten in his current mood. Diocles is less experienced than the selection but is still asked to give away 6lb. Kykate has taken well to fences, compiling a series of solid efforts before getting off the mark at Wetherby last time. That form is not easy to assess but she looks to be going the right way whilst Gleann Na Ndochais has shown plenty of promise in six chase starts and looks a player here off a perfectly acceptable mark.
