Bearaway can follow up his Uttoxeter win at the expense of South Bronx, Lucky Duck and Hollows Mill. Ginger McCain continues to fire in the winners until his son officially takes over, and there is yet another success in the offing here with Bearaway who seemed to improve out of all recognition when defying a six-month break to score at Uttoxeter 18 days ago. That was the nine-year-old's first victory in 18 months, but he won so well that a 13lb rise in the weights may not stop him from following up. South Bronx beat Lucky Duck and Hollows Mill here recently but now has to shoulder topweight, and the revised ratings give Lucky Duck a great chance of turning the tables on that rival at least. Billie John needs a confidence booster after failing to get round on each of his last two outings, and Ichi Beau makes little appeal despite the inclusion of Ruby Walsh in the saddle. Bearaway is once again the one to catch.
