This may end up in a tussle between bumper winners BRIO CONTI and Middlebrow. Both are from yards in cracking form but the former's trainer has a better than 50 per cent strike rate with the runners he sends to the track so May's Stratford scorer gets the nod ahead of the Irish import. Kalaniti won a Musselburgh bumper last November and can be forgiven his final start of last season in a Listed race at Sandown. Oishin could also make a hurdler, as could Peppay Le Pugh. Outlaw Josey Wales is probably the best of those with experience over timber.
