A few of these have been hard to win with in recent times and consistency is hardly the forte of the majority of the field. So Pontius is only a speculative choice to follow up his victory over hurdles at Perth last month. He is better than his form figures would suggest and can make the most of a lenient mark whilst his confidence is on a high. Broadgate Flyer is in good form at present and could still give the selection plenty to think about, despite creeping up the weights. But Carnacrack goes well here and is expected to put his course experience to good use as the best of the rest. Forever Noble and Ta Ta For Now are others who should go well at decent odds.
