SUPER BABY is tentatively preferred to the consistent Lightening Rod and Houston Dynimo whilst Parson's Punch is worth monitoring in the market. The selection has to put two poor performances behind him but it may be worth taking that chance as James Ewart has his string in top form at present. The return to racing at this track may also bring about an upturn in Super Baby's fortunes as he's run well on his two recent runs at the track over fences and doesn't look too badly treated. Lightening Rod has never run a bad race when faced with a realistic task and this is certainly a realistic task. This track and better ground should suit him better than Catterick where he still ran admirably and he rates a danger to all. Nicky Richards' string are in good order and it would be no surprise to see Houston Dynimo show up well as he arrives fit from the Flat and it will be disappointing if he can't win races in this sphere. Parson's Punch will be more at home in this company and represents a yard with a handsome level stakes profit at this track and is not dismissed but Super Baby is selected.
