In depth

Verdict

Wildfield Rufo looks the form pick here ahead of Why The Big Paws and Free To Run. Kate Walton's former point-to-pointer is a consistent character who stayed this trip well on seasonal reappearance and should be capable of going in again. Why The Big Paws is another thorough stayer. He can make the odd mistake at his fences and will need a clear round to score on this occasion. Free To Run is a likeable sort from the Sue Smith yard. It would be no surprise to see Dominic Elsworth attempt to pop out and make all. Weaver George is never underestimated even at his advancing years while Native Buck and Fisher Street have shown nothing of late that would entitle them to win this contest. Wildfield Rufo gets our verdict.
