Nicky Richards has won this twice in the last four years and One For Harry was second to Top Notch last year. The nine-year-old won a handicap at Wetherby last month but, like 12 months ago, has a bit to find with a couple of these on official ratings. Cyrus Darius won a Grade 2 at Aintree in 2015 and is sure to have benefited from his reappearance at Haydock but there is still a question mark about whether he’s worthy of a mark of 145. BORN SURVIVOR is rated only 2lb lower and ran three solid race in handicap company before the turn of the year. This is probably on the short side but it’s a stiff track and old Knockara Beau is unlikely to be hanging about at the front end.
