Caipiroska catches the eye with Nina Carberry on board and should prove too strong for Jimmy Bond and Brooklyn Breeze. Ferdy Murphy has been selectively reverting the selection between hurdling and chasing in an attempt to exploit the disrepency between its handicap marks over both disciplines. Last time Caipiroska contested a handicap chase in excess of 3m 4f on heavy ground, a distance that he simply did not see out. Back over a trip that appears his optimum and a profile that suggests he has yet to display his full potential, this appears at his mercy en-route to contesting an ameteur riders contest at the Cheltenham Festival, with today's rider possibly aboard. Jimmy Bond is consistent and is likely to be thereabouts but appears in the grip of the handicapper despite connections attempting a variety of trips while Brooklyn Breeze was disappointing in a hotly contested Sandown handicap but was not disgraced behind Vedelle on his penultimate start. Standin Obligation has been sliding down but his form has tailed off dismally and Caipiroska is a confident choice to land this.
