So They Say is an intriguing contender on this return to action. Not seen since February 2022, this winning pointer showed some ability in ordinary northern novice and maiden hurdles and could be anything. The market should prove a valuable pointer to the chance of Lucinda Russell‘s mare who has also had wind surgery since that last run. She may well be the one but HEADSCARF LIL has a decent shout off topweight on the best of her form and only went down by a short head last time over three miles at Perth. A good run is expected. Lincoln Burrows is another needing a market check after pulling up on reappearance as Brian Hughes is booked and he impressed when landing his final start last season. Secret Secret has gone well on both starts this term and is worth a place on the shortlist.
