Democratic Oath beat a couple of subsequent winners when landing a novices race at Sedgefield and makes his handicap debut. But today’s good going is a worry and FANTASTIC ROCK looks better suited to the ground. The latter was beaten only a length in novice company at Newcastle on his second outing for Sandy Thomson’s yard and there looks more to come from him. Animore is not badly treated on last year’s winning form at Bangor but the front-running Fisher Green returned a beaten favourite at Musselburgh and Prince Khurram unseated when still going well at Kelso back in October.
