Verdict

Iron Express, Weaver George and Ta Ta For Now are three against the field in this competitive handicap chase and the vote goes to Iron Express. The selection was a fair fourth in a tougher race behind The Merry Mason last time, this looks easier and off what looks a fair mark and under conditions that suit he is taken to win again. Weaver George rates the main danger on his latest second behind Wildfield Rufo and he looks sure to run his race but he is very exposed and he is passed over on this occasion. Ta Ta For Now has the ability to win this and was a fair second behind Native Eire last time but he likes to have his own way in front and with that not looking likely he is as keen to throw in the towel as try and as a consequence he can not be put forward with any confidence.Behavingbadly did not appear to handle the heavy ground when well behind Interdit last time and it would be no surprise if he were to run well on this faster surface. Black Smoke is another well weighted type but he continues to be let down by his jumping and for the winner we return to Iron Express.
