Some Lad won over hurdles at Newcastle last month before finishing second over fences. He must have a chance in this under Conor Shoemark. Bernardelli returns from a break but was in good form before the turn of the year and Cool Baranca is better than she's shown lately. Scimon Templar has gone close on a couple of occasions but has gone up in the weights, despite not winning. It's about time TRUST THOMAS was winning one of these. He didn't run very well when favourite here last time but looks the pick on earlier efforts at the track and at Wetherby.
