Lambrini Legend is the pick but Beau Largesse can be given a chance on the form of his latest run and it would be no surprise to see Armageudon run a big race at a decent price. The selection won here in February on his first start for eleven months so there's no concern about his lack of a recent run whilst he looks more than capable of defying an 8lb rise in the weights. Of more concern is the drop in trip on faster ground but he should have the speed to cope with it. Deedeetee has done well on winter ground this season but the handicapper may be catching up with him whereas Beau Largesse has been rated higher in the past and could go well now that he's found some semblance of form. Armageudon hasn't been easy to train but both his trainer and owner get plenty of winners at this track. He drops markedly in grade this afternoon and looks well handicapped on the best of his form. He has the scope to carry a big weight and could go well but Lambrini Legend is the solid option and consequently selected.
