Nicky Richards is a force to be reckoned with at Kelso and The Whisperer can provide him with yet another winner. Or De Grugy is the principal threat with Shrewd Investor having lost his way. The selection has been patiently handled by his handler, having had some problems and being restricted to just the four starts but there's no doubting his talent when he's right. He comfortably saw off some fair opponents at Newcastle on his chase bow and should be up to the task of beating similar opposition this afternoon. Smart Investor made a promising start to his chase career but cannot be confidently recommended having failed to complete the last twice whilst a place is probably the best that Surricate can hope to achieve. Or De Grugy did well over hurdles and promises to fare even better at this game but he lacks the scope of the selection and The Whisperer can have the last word today.
