Jallastep, Tobesure, Skenfrith and The Masareti Kid are four against the field in this handicap hurdle and The Maserati Kid is put forward as the tentative choice. The selection is a course and distance winner, and although he has been below his best of late, he is well treated on the pick of his form and could represent a bit of value in a competitive finale. Tobesure could be the chief danger if he gets the strong gallop that he relishes, and he was a fair third behind Huka Lodge at Newcastle last time. Jallastep ran as though he was returning to form when third behind Cordilla at Carlisle last time. If the market vibes are positive here then it might pay to take the hint. Skenfrith won well last time but that was on heavy ground and the faster ground may not suit, so for the winner we return to The Masareti Kid.
