Inch Island, Unicorn Reward, Shares, Culcabock and Sir Night are the principles in this novices' hurdle and we will take a chance on Sir Night. The selection was fourth behind Albany at Catterick last time and as he had previously beaten Culcabock on his hurdling debut when down the field at Musselburgh he looks to have a good chance of being involved at the finish here. He was useful on the flat and given a clear round he will take a good deal of beating. Inch Island will give him the most to do as he has shown a fair level of form but the suspicion is that he will be best suited by a sharper track, and he is opposed for that reason. Unicorn Reward has steadily improved since going over hurdles and his latest fourth behind My Last Bean at Musselburgh would give him a decent chance of taking a place here. Shares is the other that could be interesting if the market speaks in his favour, but in an open race we will give Sir Night the nomination.
